Scott is a Senior Consultant with Global Public Affairs based out of Calgary. Scott specializes in supporting clients in the municipal, community and infrastructure portfolios, providing government relations and strategic advice to municipal, corporate and not-for-profit clients. He has helped dozens of successful municipal infrastructure projects and advocacy initiatives. He has campaigned for political parties and candidates nationally, provincially and municipally.
Before joining Global, Scott served as a constituency assistant to two successive Members of Parliament for Red Deer, eight years as Senior Policy Advisor to Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi and five years with The City of Calgary as a Senior Strategist in the Government Relations Office.
Scott is an active volunteer in the Calgary Community, Vice Chair of the 783 (Calgary) Wing of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association (RCAFA), and a Calgary Ukrainian Evacuee Welcome Committee member, aiding Ukrainian evacuees displaced by war. Scott is an aspiring writer working on a book regarding political staffing.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts, Double Major in History and Political Science, from the University of Alberta with a certificate in Globalization and Governance.
