Nicole Brassard is the Vice President of British Columbia at Global Public Affairs, overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Vancouver, Victoria, and Nanaimo offices. With expertise in government relations, stakeholder engagement, and communications, Nicole specializes in the Transportation, Infrastructure, and Technology sectors, helping clients navigate complex policy landscapes from conception to commercialization.
She is also the co-chair of Global’s Technology Practice and assists clients in the sector from conception to commercialization.
Nicole’s work is informed by over 15 years of hands-on political experience including managing election campaigns, developing platform policy, and providing tactical, high-level counsel to political leaders at both the provincial and federal levels. She has a proven track record in coalition building, media relations, and running creative advocacy campaigns that offer a fresh approach to traditional government relations. Nicole’s leadership is further demonstrated through her committee work with the BC Chamber of Commerce, Government Relations Institute of Canada, Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, and as co-president of the Public Affairs Association of Canada (BC). In 2025 she was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Award for her contributions to public service.
Prior to joining Global, Nicole was the Director of a federal political party, managing stakeholder engagement and grassroots policy development across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Territories. She also brings over a decade of experience in law, having worked in corporate and insurance practice groups for national and international law firms.
