Mahdi Ellorhaoui is an Associate Consultant in the Transportation, Infrastructure, and Communities practice group at Global Public Affairs. He brings experience across Canada’s federal political ecosystem, with a background spanning Parliament Hill and government relations consulting.
Before joining Global Public Affairs, Mahdi supported clients at a public affairs firm navigating federal policy and regulatory environments. He previously served as a Parliamentary Assistant to a federal Member of Parliament in Ottawa, gaining direct exposure to federal institutions and political decision-making. Earlier in his career, Mahdi also worked internationally with the European Delegation in Rabat, Morocco, and at the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), contributing to international cooperation and institutional capacity-building initiatives.
Mahdi holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Montpellier (France) and a Master of Science in Global Studies and International Relations from Northeastern University (Boston, USA). A true polyglot, he is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, and is currently learning Russian and Hebrew.
