Kim Kline, Senior Advisor for Global Public Affairs, a seasoned leader in Canada’s life sciences and bioscience sector, with over a decade of experience advancing research, innovation, and commercialization.

As Past President & CEO of Bioscience Association Manitoba, she spearheaded strategic initiatives that enhanced R&D capacity, built cross-sector collaborations, and championed policies to strengthen Manitoba’s biotech ecosystem.

Throughout her career, Kim has excelled at bringing together stakeholders across academia, government, and industry to accelerate growth and impact. A strong communicator and relationship connector, she is recognized for building coalitions that bridge researchers, startups, investors, and regulators. Her expertise includes strategic program development, policy and government relations, financial oversight, and translating complex scientific and regulatory landscapes into actionable business strategies.

One of her key achievements was working with government to develop Manitoba’s first-ever provincial Life Science Strategy — a landmark initiative that positioned the province as a leader in bioscience innovation. She has also led large-scale programs that scaled biotech innovation and secured sustainable organizational growth.
