Kiana Averill is an Associate Consultant at Global Public Affairs. She supports clients across Western Canada and brings experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, research, and issues management.
Prior to joining Global, Kiana gained experience in corporate communications within Alberta’s energy sector, where she supported internal and external communications, media monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and issues management activities. Through these roles, she developed a strong foundation in research, strategic communications, and translating complex information into clear and accessible messaging.
Kiana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Calgary and completed the university’s Arts Co-operative Education Program. She is passionate about strategic engagement, and helping organizations navigate complex issues and opportunities.
