Judi has more than a decade of experience in the Health and Life Sciences sector, with a focus on Western Canada (AB & MB). In her previous Alberta roles as Vice President and Acting CEO of Bio Alberta and Director of Strategic Partnership at the University Hospital Foundation, she established significant strategic partnerships between Johnson & Johnson, Boehringer Ingelheim, Roche, Servier, Astellas, and Takeda.
Most recently, Judi has been the Director of Business Development for the Bioscience Association of Manitoba (BAM). Before joining BAM, Judi was the Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Research Manitoba. During this time, she achieved the first provincial partnership between Boehringer Ingelheim in the areas of diabetes with a particular focus on indigenous health.
Judi has worked with the health industry throughout her career, from large Multinationals to local start-ups. She hass worked very closely with health and innovation policy stakeholders at provincial levels in Alberta and Manitoba and the Federal Government.
