Christine brings a distinct pan-Canadian perspective to Mercure Conseil through her extensive experience in politics and public affairs across Canada. Her understanding of government institutions and political dynamics enables her to develop effective strategies for addressing complex public policy and stakeholder issues.
Originally from Toronto, Christine served as Policy Advisor and Council Liaison to former Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, as well as Senior Advisor, Policy and Communications, to former federal Cabinet Minister and Chief Government Whip John Duncan. Before joining Mercure Conseil, she spent a decade working in Quebec’s public affairs sector, with a particular focus on arts and culture.
Christine also worked at the International Economic Forum of the Americas, advising on international policy issues related to innovation, infrastructure, and trade. She helped lead several economic development initiatives, including the Canadian Expat Summit, developed in partnership with the Ontario government.
She completed diplomatic traineeships at the Mission of Canada to the European Union in Brussels and the Mission of Armenia to the United Nations in New York. Christine holds a bilingual Master’s Degree from the Glendon School of Public and International Affairs at York University, which included an exchange at Sciences Po Paris. She currently serves on the board of Centaur Theatre and is Junior Editor at Global Brief magazine.
