Consultant – Public Affairs, Ontario

Global Public Affairs (Global), Canada’s fastest growing public affairs firm, is looking for a talented, early career professional to join our Toronto office as a Consultant. This full-time position, part of our expanding Ontario Public Affairs Practice, offers a positive work environment and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the country.

The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, well-organized, proactive, strategic, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and is expected to have 1-2 years of experience working in government or alongside government relations teams.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, client and service-oriented, organized when dealing with multiple, complex projects, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team atmosphere. Event experience is not required but would be considered an asset.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, this position offers a positive work environment and the opportunity to grow a business and collaborate with colleagues across the country.

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 annually. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. We anticipate that the starting salary will be at the entry level of the band with room for growth as the candidate develops in the role.
