Colin Brown is an Associate Consultant at Global Public Affairs. He supports the team in the execution of public affairs strategies, research and analysis for a range of clients, primarily but not limited to Global’s Health and Life Sciences practice. His work has spanned the political, policy, and stakeholder relations continuum, shaping his approach to public affairs.
Before joining Global, Colin was a Research Associate in the Sustainability practice at The Conference Board of Canada, primarily focusing on stakeholder engagement for energy and natural resource projects, the plastics value chain, and resilient recoveries from natural disasters. One of his significant projects as project leader was recognized with International and National Research Project of the Year awards by the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) for novel and innovative contributions to community, Indigenous and stakeholder engagement on energy and natural resource projects. Colin has also contributed to federal, provincial, and municipal campaigns. He is an active member of 100 Men Calgary and a Calgary Centre Conservative Association board member.
Colin holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from York University and an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science from the University of Ottawa.
