Maryann Chichak has a wealth of experience in the realm of municipal government, business management, and the banking industry. Most recently she served on municipal council for 11 years, including 8 years as mayor. During that time, she served as both a Director and Vice President for the Alberta Municipalities, as well as a Board Director on the Federation of Canadian Municipalities board. She has been forefront in raising national awareness on many issues affecting municipalities, in addition to working closely with industry and government agencies on a variety of topics that has included partnerships with the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, the Forest Products Association of Canada, and the Coalition of Canadian Municipalities for Energy Action.
