Craig is a Director for Western Canada in Global Public Affairs’ Calgary office, providing advice and support to clients across sectors including energy, environment and resources; health and life sciences; economic development; and technology and innovation. He has spent over a decade in senior communications and leadership roles, advising Premiers, Cabinet Ministers, CEOs, Board Chairs, and Boards.
As the strategic communications team leader at the Canada Energy Regulator, Craig led strategic communications on national infrastructure projects like the Trans Mountain Expansion while supporting transformational change in communications, engagement, and Reconciliation areas. Before working for the federal government, Craig worked in provincial legislatures in Manitoba and Alberta, the Alberta Premier’s office for two different Premiers, the Deputy Premier’s office, Ministers’ offices, and the Alberta and Canadian governments. He has campaigned for political parties and candidates nationally, provincially and municipally.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg and attended Red River College Polytechnic’s Creative Communications program. He is active with his children’s school and sports communities and volunteers on the board of directors of the Federation of Calgary Communities.
