Global Public Affairs Strengthens GPA Cannabis Practice

Announcing the addition of two key advisors to the GPA Cannabis team.

Today we are pleased to announce that Tom Clark, Global Public Affairs Chair, will be expanding his role by becoming fully integrated into GPA Cannabis as Strategic Advisor, Communications.  Tom will continue to leverage his decades of broadcasting experience by offering strategic communications advice and executive media coaching to our cannabis clientele. Tom will be supported by Toronto-based Consultant Sophia Koukoulas.

We are also pleased to announce the addition of Elaine Larsen as Senior Consultant, Regulated Health Services. With over a decade of direct experience working in Ottawa, she joins Global and GPA Cannabis with experience working with licensed producers and Health Canada through the MMPR development process, and as the legalization policy framework continues to unfold. Elaine also works on behalf of clients with active interests in Health Canada and FDA regulatory cooperation.

Alanna Sokic, Consultant, GPA Cannabis will be taking on new responsibilities as National Coordinator, Integrated Mandates. In this role, Alanna will be responsible for supporting cannabis clients across the country dealing with all levels of government.

Rod Elliot, Senior Vice President, will become National Business Development Lead of GPA Cannabis, while also supporting on company-wide business development activities in Global’s fast-growing Technology practice.

Kim Haakstad, Nicole Brassard, Lauren Stone, and Jordan Pinkster, continue to be key team members of GPA Cannabis serving our clients in Western Canada, with Curtis O’Nyon and David Skinner serving clients in Ottawa. Andrea Chrysanthou and Meg Shannon will provide strategic communications advice from Toronto.

Former Nova Scotia Premier Darrell Dexter remains Chair of GPA Cannabis.
