Francesca Guetchev is a Senior Consultant with Global Public Affairs, providing strategic counsel to clients navigating government, public policy, and complex political and business environments.
She brings multidisciplinary experience advising senior decision-makers across geopolitics, government, and the private sector, with expertise in government relations, strategic and crisis communications, media relations, issues management, and intelligence and risk analysis.
Prior to joining Global, Francesca served as Press Secretary for the Official Opposition Conservative Caucus in the British Columbia Legislature, where she was a lead adviser to the Interim Leader and Caucus. Previously, she advised government, commercial, and high-net-worth clients at MOSAIC, a global intelligence and risk advisory firm, providing intelligence analysis and strategic advice on complex risk and security matters. Her experience also includes executive operations within a Deputy Minister’s Office, supporting a Cabinet Minister in the BC Legislative Assembly, private-sector experience supporting engineering and project operations in the energy and infrastructure sector, and research supporting senior leadership at the Department of National Defence. Francesca also serves on the Executive Committee of the Victoria Branch of the Canadian International Council.
Francesca holds a Master of Science in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
