Ayesha is currently an intern with Global Public Affairs, supporting the team through aiding in legislative/policy monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and communications support.
Through both her academic and professional experience, she has developed a strong understanding of how policy decisions are designed, communicated and implemented in practice. She is particularly interested in the intersection between regulatory policy, government relations, and energy development, with a growing focus on how policy decisions are translated into real-world outcomes.
Ayesha has over a year of experience working in the public sector, where she gained experience helping implement complex federal regulations, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders, and supporting compliance within the public health sector. Her background in public-facing regulatory work has equipped her with strong analytical and communication skills that she now brings to the public affairs and policy space.
Ayesha is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Political Sciences at the University of Calgary.
