Sydney Linholm is a Senior Consultant with Global Public Affairs’ Transport, Infrastructure, and Strategic Industries team. She brings experience in government relations, public affairs, and policy analysis, with a strong focus on legislative and political monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications.
Sydney has supported clients across sectors including agriculture, sustainability, health, and transportation, providing insights on parliamentary procedure, policy developments, and government decision-making processes. She is skilled in translating complex political and regulatory environments into clear, actionable advice for clients.
Prior to joining Global Public Affairs, Sydney worked in government relations with another firm in Ottawa, where she contributed to client strategy, government outreach, and issue tracking. She has also gained valuable political experience through roles on Parliament Hill and internationally, including supporting a member of the Irish Senate on agriculture, marine, and climate policy files. In her spare time, Sydney is a member of Cornerstone Housing for Women’s Young Professional Advisory Board, contributing to the success of Cornerstone through volunteering, advocacy, and fundraising efforts.
Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science with a concentration in North American politics from Carleton University and a Master’s degree in Political Management from Carleton University.
