Tracy Gray is a Senior Advisor at Global Public Affairs, where she supports clients across a range of files, including trade and international trade, as well as federal government relations.
Prior to joining Global Tracy was a two term Member of Parliament, municipal Councillor, national award-winning entrepreneur, and served on corporate, tribunal, regulatory, not for profit, government and industry boards.
Tracy held multiple Shadow Cabinet Minister portfolios that encompassed interprovincial trade, international trade, export promotion, small business, disability inclusion and workforce development. She led complex portfolio strategies, legislative analysis, policy development and communications.
Tracy served on the party leader’s senior Policy and Planning Team and Economic Affairs Shadow Cabinet Committee. She served on Industry and Technology and as Vice Chair of the Human Resources and International Trade Standing Committees.
She served as Kelowna City Councillor, Chair of the Okanagan Basin Water Board and as a director for the Central Okanagan Regional District, Passenger Transportation Board of BC, Okanagan Film Commission and Prospera Credit Union. Tracy achieved the ICD.D certification.
Her professional career spanned twenty-seven years in the beer and wine sector including founding Discover Wines – BC VQA Wines and Gifts stores which topped sales in British Columbia. Tracy was a weekly guest on a Global TV lifestyle segment, guest lectured college and university students on business and public service, mentored women starting businesses, and is a sought-after speaker.
Accolades include BDO’s “Top 40 over 40”, British Columbia’s “100 Women to Watch”, Kelowna Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award, and RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur of the Year.
