Nicole Foster Woollatt

Vice President, Ontario

Nicole Foster Woollatt manages the Global Public Affairs team in Toronto, providing strategic advice to organizations managing issues at Queen's Park.

Prior to joining Global in 2004, Nicole worked for a number of years as the Legislative Assistant to the Minister of the Environment and has an exceptional knowledge in the area of legislative processes. She managed several legislative stakeholder groups and parliamentary activities, including overall strategy and tactics for question period, major pieces of environmental legislation and the activities of parliamentary Standing Committees on behalf of the minister. Having also worked previously as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Secretary of State (Rural Development), Nicole has a strong understanding of rural issues, community development and the importance of grassroots communication and applies this to her work at Global.

Nicole has been active in numerous political campaigns and events. She is also involved with Equal Voice, a multi-partisan group dedicated to raising the issue of women's under-representation in Canadian legislatures and creating a climate in which more women will be elected. She is a Director on the Board of the Government Relations Institute of Canada, a member of the Women's Executive Network, and the Canadian Study of Parliament Group. Nicole has a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Culture Studies with an extended minor in Political Science from Simon Fraser University.
