Ben Forer

Consultant, Industry and Innovation

Ben Forer brings to Global hands-on experience in communications, research and government relations and is a key member of Global's Industry and Innovation, and Natural Resources and Environment practice groups. He has been servicing clients in areas related to legislation, investment, trade and research. Ben is adept at providing in-depth analysis on the political landscape and the potential impacts for business and has compiled numerous stakeholder audits and government relations strategies. During his time at Global, he has worked with several leading companies and organizations from the energy and mining sectors, as well as leading technology companies.

Prior to joining Global, Ben served for several years as Press and Economic Affairs Officer at one of the busiest diplomatic missions in Ottawa. In this role he was a key point of liaison with the national media, the business community, Parliament and various levels of government.

Ben holds a double major degree in International Relations and East Asian studies from the Hebrew University and a Master's degree from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs-Carleton University, specializing in International Trade Policy. He has various degrees of fluency in six languages.
