Andrew Bowles

Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Global Public Affairs, Andrew Bowles provides analysis of municipal and provincial government including monitoring of City of Toronto council and committee meetings. He is our lead on a number of portfolios and is active in a range of files across our municipal and provincial practice groups including client work in the energy and infrastructure development sectors and the development of client lobby days at Queen's Park. Andrew joined Global from Queen's Park, where he served as a Legislative Assistant. In this role, his responsibilities including speech writing, researching and developing issues for Question Period, as well as liaising with community leaders and the media.

From 2004-2007, Andrew served as the Executive Assistant to the Niagara Regional Chair, coordinating the Chair's day-to-day activities with the corporate management team, with municipal councils throughout the region and with the provincial and federal governments. In this role, Andrew developed and organized "Niagara Week" advocacy missions to Toronto and Ottawa to raise the profile of the region with those governments. Andrew holds an MA (Award of Merit) in International Relations from the University of Nottingham, where he studied as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, and a BA (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.
